Parnell House Renovation

This full interior renovation of a 1990s Parnell home lets an impressive collection of art and antique furniture come to the fore. The art also helped dictate the palette – the blackened-steel kitchen cabinetry, for instance, draws in the background tone of a nearby Peter Stichbury portrait.

With its exacting attention to detailing in all rooms, the home itself could be described as a collection of meticulously finished architectural moments, best exemplified by the kitchen island, which extends into an elegant table of brass and marble, and richly textured stone surfaces.
