Tucker Beach Road House

This three-bedroom winter retreat occupies an embankment near the Lower Shotover River. The design overcame the challenge of a narrow site to provide a platform for long views to Coronet Peak.

On this very private site, out of view of any other dwellings, the house sits quietly in a classical landscape arrangement, with the black-brick gabled forms only just glimpsed through the European larch allée from Tucker Beach Road.
